How to Install bitlbee software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

bitlbee software package provides An IRC to other chat networks gateway (default version), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install bitlbee 

bitlbee is installed in your system.

Make ensure the bitlbee package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bitlbee *

You will get with bitlbee package name, version, architecture and description in a table
